studio 1 is located just 10 minutes from the West End in the heart of London, and is conveniently served by bus, tube and train.

At just under 50 square metres, studio 1 is the ideal space for small-set game shows, magazine/lifestyle programmes, web tv, talk shows, corporate talking head pieces to camera and demonstration videos. The studio offers its own dedicated production offices with internet connection, a computer and telephone on every desk. It also boasts a green room and a guest dressing room with facilities for make-up, hair and wardrobe.

The studio can be used as either a virtual or physical set. The system offers:

• Three studio cameras with autocue (and additional cameras as required) all remote controlled from the gallery. Full lighting rig, control desk and lights.
• High quality on-screen graphics with fully customisable UI - capable of receiving live data and displaying it on screen (votes, SMS, pricing etc).
• Avid Unity replay system as well as traditional VT decks (SDI) and 3 DVS blade video servers to play content to air or to on-set (or virtual) plasma screens.
• Advanced redundant telephony and internet.
• External connectivity to BT Tower and back-up as required by client.
